Scottish Deerhound

The Scottish Deerhound is what happens when elegance decides to take a nap on your couch. These dogs look like they stepped out of a Renaissance painting — all wire-coated grace and noble bearing — and then they flop onto your sofa with a dramatic sigh that says 'I have hunted the great stags of the Highlands and now I shall sleep for six hours.' Inside, they're the world's largest lapdog, folding their enormous frame into impossibly small spaces and gazing at you with soft, dark eyes that hold centuries of aristocratic dignity and absolutely zero interest in fetching a ball.
