The first thing you notice is the color — that otherworldly silver-gray coat that catches light like polished steel, turning your dog into something that belongs in a gallery, not a dog park. Then those amber eyes lock onto yours with an intensity that says, "I have decided you are mine, and I will now follow you into the bathroom, the shower, and possibly the afterlife." Weimaraners don't do casual affection. They do full-contact, Velcro-strength devotion that borders on obsession. They're athletes wrapped in mercury — built to run, point, and retrieve with a grace that makes other sporting dogs look like they're trying too hard. When a Weimaraner stretches out on your couch (the entire couch), legs extending in every direction like a silver starfish, you realize this dog was bred for German nobility, and they have absolutely not forgotten it.
